Time:2019-06-21| Author:Admin

A metal sheet metal part is a part or product made of a metal sheet as a material and plastically deformed. Sheet metal is an important type of product modeling material. Sheet metal parts are widely used in contemporary industrial products. For example, automobiles, electric welders, fuel dispensers, gas dispensers and some industrial instruments are typical sheet metal parts.

JIANGMEN JUN SHENG INDUSTRIAL GROUP specializes in the design and development of a series of sheet metal products. Based on the basic principles of the forming process of sheet metal products, this paper will carry out some innovative applications. This paper will analyze the basic principles of the forming process. On the basis of these design practices, the modeling characteristics of the products formed by the main forming process of sheet metal parts are systematically analyzed and summarized, and some specific application techniques are discussed.

1 The influence of the typical forming process of sheet metal on product modeling

The common forming process of sheet metal parts generally includes the following types: bending, drawing, spinning, special molding, etc. Among them, there are mainly direct and significant influences on the appearance of the product, such as bending and deep drawing, and this is also The two most widely used forming processes in sheet metal parts. The following will start from the basic principles of these two processes, analyze and summarize the rules of the shape characteristics of the products they form, and the application techniques of these rules.

   1.1 Bending process

The bending process is often combined with the cutting and welding process, namely cutting + bending + welding process. In this set of processes, bending is the core process, and cutting and welding can be considered as an auxiliary process.

1.1.1 Basic principle of bending process

The bending process, also called bending process, is a process of bending a plate, a profile or a pipe into a certain curvature and angle to form a certain shape of the part.

1.1.2 Product modeling features using the bending process

Obviously, after bending, the product is still made of a flat surface, but a rounded corner R is formed at the bend. When the rounded corner is large, it is actually a curved surface, and the curved surface is only curved in one direction, which can be called Is a single surface. Therefore, the product modeling features formed by the bending process can be summarized as follows:

1: After bending, the various faces of the product are still flat, thus forming a tall and strong style. However, if the aesthetics of the appearance is not well controlled, it will be another situation: blunt and rigid. In fact, many products are now the case.

2: When the bending radius is large, the curved surface can realize a single curved surface, that is, a curved surface that is curved only in one direction. Since it is not possible to bend from both directions at the same time, the bending process cannot obtain a hyperboloid.

3: The minimum radius of the curved surface is affected by the thickness of the sheet and the type of material and the direction of the fiber of the material.

4: The bending process relies more on the technology of the operator. The tolerance of the product is large and not stable enough. The consistency of the product and the interchangeability of the parts are poor, which may cause the product to appear rough.
